Hi clark,

Thank you very much.now i got a strange problem.the cd cleaner starts working and some cds are working.strangely only TDK cd-r type of CDs are working.any nothing else.when i am trying to play another cds like memorex, maxell, and fujifilm cd-rs it is again ejecting the cd sayinh E:00.is this still problem with laser lens cleaning.or got some thing to do with cd player.i am sure any cd player should be able to play all kinds of cds. (CD-Rs).i will anyway try to remove the cd-player from dash board ( i hope thats what u meant) and open it and clean the laser lens with Qtips (if i am not mistaken).if you can figure out the problem with my player that would be great.by the way the the cd-player cleaner cd is working fine.

By the nature of the way CD-R's are recorded so precise the tracks in the disc's are very close together. If the laser in your CD unit is slightly dusty/dirty the laser will not focus onto a single track and it will stop or eject and you will see the fault codes. Some preformated disc's will have the vacant tracks already laid down so that when you record on them they may play OK due to the width of the tracks (basically) If you use a Qtip and carefully clean the laser lense in your CD player it may play all CD's again.
