Audio Systems: no power to stereo, fuse block, battery 2

hi,

i wired a new CD player to my civic. the previous one got stolen. The procedure was as follows.

1. disconnect battery.
2. coneect ground then power, then ignition & the speakers.
3. then i connected the battery.

when i turned on the ignition there is no power to the CD player.

I checked the fuses & double checked the wiring of the harness. its ok

what should i do now.

  ok go to www.streetdreams.com/wires so you can double check your wiring , now for a test to make sure the unit works run a small wire led from the battery and wire it to your 12volt ignition wire to see if the unit will turn on and function , if it does then the ignition wire is all you have to fix and the diagram should help get that str8, now if for some reason you cant get this to work out you can try to run the ignition from your fuse block but use this as a last resort .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
