Audio Systems: water damage, output amplifier, alpine cd

Question
recently I left the windows open in my 1993 silverado. the inside got pretty wet. some of the rain got to my alpine cd stereo. i dried everything off. the cd/radio lights up and all buttons/functions seem to work but i don't get any sound from the speakers, any of them. the front speakers got a little wet but not too much.
ideas?

Answer
Hector,
Because part of the circuit board/s inside the stereo will still have 12 volts across them even with the stereo turned off and having water come in contact with the lines that carry the 12 volts can cause damage to the board/s. The area that most likely was damaged by shorting out by the water was the area around the pins of the audio output amplifier/s. When the water comes in contact with the 12 powered lines, it will eat away the copper foil of the circuit board/s.
