Answer
Lekan,

most likly since the system is a bose and it has a factory amp that produces the power for the sound this is the part that has gone bad, now if you call a dealer and have one ordered the install is a simple unbolt and unplug , re-bolt and replug very easy, the catch is the replacement amp will be fairly costly i think but call and check first , now if you dont want to go with a replacement you have the option of swaping the factory amp'd system out with either an aftermarket head unit and speakers or wiring in an aftermarket amp inplace of the factory amp, this can get into some serious wiring so the easiest option is a replacement.. i'm fairly confident this is your problem , but for a second opinion just to make sure you can stop by a local install shop for some testing but there is really nothing it can be aside from a major wiring problem from the amp/head unit to the speakers which is very rare .. i hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
