Audio Systems: stereo malfunction, chevrolet tahoe, customer line

i have a 1998 chevrolet tahoe with anti theft system on it and i unhooked battery to change it out and stereo system dont work now what do i do?and how do i fix it my self?

 go to your owners manual it will have the directions to deactivate the theftloc feature ... the code is generic i think 123 unless you or someone else has changed it , if you cant get it to work call GM's customer line and have your VIN handy because you have to verify some information usually to get a master code to unlock it .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
