Audio Systems: Power problems, farad capacitor, blown fuses

Question
I am having a problem with my deck. i will be subbing hard, sound great. Then my deck will loose power for about 2 to 4 seconds then comes back on. Like it never happend. This is only happining when my stereo is subbing.
Also I have been blowing 30amp fuses, on my amp positive from the battery. I bought some at a gas station went right threw them. So I got some from autozone. the ones with the indacator light, and it has not blown as of yet.                       WHAT THE PROBLEM IS...

Answer
Sounds like you have a mess of wires if your head unit is cutting out and your amp kicks fuses .. go back over all of your wiring double triple check your head units harness to make sure all the connections are correct and everything is taped up nice and nothing can rub together.. also go over every inch of your amps wiring + - and RMS turn on .. make sure your ground isnt loose ! and its screwed to the body where you have sanded the paint off so it has a good surface to contact with .. clean your batter terminals and all the connections made for your power cable make sure all wires have no frayed/broken/split ect.. pieces if they do replace ..also make sure you are using the right gauge power and ground cables based on how much watts you pull and if your amp is over 600 watts you should look into a .5 farad capacitor or more if you have more wattage .. now if so far you havent cured the problem stop by autozone or advanced auto and have them do a "free" charging system checkup they can test you battery and your alternator for problems like weak cell ect.. if one of these are bad or going bad it can cause a surge or an undersurge that either feeds to much or not enough power to your head unit and amp this would explain the cutting out and the blown fuses .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
