Audio Systems: 91 grand prix stereo lock code, delco, lumina

Question
I just picked up fhe stereo out from a 91 grand prix from a friend. Then I instaled it in to my 92 lumina not knowing that it had the theft lock on it. What I was wondering was is how do I get the code to unlock it or bypass it so it will work

Get the code your friend set it to. His owner's manual shows how to enter it, and erase it if you want. If he has forgetten it, you would send it to a delco repair center for erasing. This usually costs more than a new CD player. Or you could just enter every code starting at 000 to 999. Should only take about a week......8-)
