Audio Systems: Removal of Factory head unit(Lanos), daewoo lanos, daewoo dealer

Hey Tom, I can't figure out how to remove the stock head unit(stereo) from a '01 Daewoo Lanos S HB.  It's the AM/FM/Casette model.

And will a new JVC KD-G300 head unit fit the current fittings?  Or would I have to customize/buy a new setup?

I'm not familiar with this vehicle. Try stopping by your local Daewoo dealer and ask them how to remove the stereo. To make the install go easier with the new stereo you can purchase(if available) an adapter harness that plugs into the factory harness and all you do is to connect the correct wires together from the adapter and the new stereo.
