Audio Systems: Radio turn itself off, tiny button, cameleon

Question
The radio turn off, then it comes back and turn off again. Sometimes ii goes off for about an hour, then it comes on for about 30 seconds then goes off again. The radio is a cameleon.

  call JVC ask them if this is a common problem and let them walk you through some troubleshooting .. they are the experts and might know something that i dont .. now if they cant give you any help , try restarting the unit look in your manual for insturctions but it should be a TINY button you will need a needle or something very small to press.. then try it out also pull the unit out check all the connections and try turning on the unit and wiggle the wires to try and track down a problem .. if you have the same problem junk the unit , it has a loose short that causes connection and function then it flatlines this can cause a fire or other serious problems in the system ... hope this helps you out if you need naything else let me know
