Audio Systems: car cd changer problem, 2000 mazda mpv, car cd changer

I have a 2000 Mazda MPV with a 6 disc cd changer. In the middle of playing a cd, the disc ejected, and now all attempts to insert a disc result in it loading then immediately ejecting without playing at all.

  i will go through some simple things that can cause a system to eject the cd . one is burnt/homemade cd's some factory systems wont read them or will read them just stop and eject them because of burn errors .. now this should be giving you some type of code on your head unit if it does write it down look in your owners booklet if you cant find anything there give mazda's customer service line a call they can look up what the code means and you can go from there .. if its not giving you a code try resetting the computer but first make sure you do not have any theftloc features activated on your unit and if you do disable them then disconnect the negitive battery terminal for about 10-15 mins then reattach sometimes this will clear any electrical hang ups .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
