Audio Systems: Toyota CD Player, wet type, cd cleaner

The Toyota 3 CD changer ( L2410 ) in my 99 Rav sometimes plays the discs but more often lately does nothing but show "ERR1" where the track info normally appears. Anything simple, like a CD Cleaner, that would help?

Hello Mike,
You may want to try using a wet type CD lense cleaner disc. If anyone in the vehicle smokes, this may be the cause of the problem. If after cleaning the laser lense and the player still will not play CD's, the laser pick up may need to be replaced.
