Audio Systems: stereo dead, fuse one, nissan altima

i had circut city put in a cd player for me about 4 years ago, about a week ago it went dead, everything else works fine, and i checked the fuse and it works, the sig lighter and clock work fine, the cd player just gets no power to it. and i have never touched any wires on it.

 4 years is a decent life span for a head unit that experiences regular day to day use.. go back to your fuse block and check each and every fuse one at a time for blows check ALL fuses not just the radio ones.. also pull the unit out make sure the harness is plugged in securly and check the fuse*if it has one* on the harness or back of the unit.. now if none of this pans out more than likly its time to toss the old unit and install a new one... before you go spend the money you can take it to an install shop and have them do some basic troubleshooting such as check the power wire for power , the RMS/ignition , grounds ect..but these rarely go bad but in a vehicle over 10 years old it would pay off to chip in 20 or 30 bucks to a shop and have it checked out hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
