Audio Systems: Where can I obtain a program to decode and recode my car radio, peugeot dealer, peugeot 306

I have just taken the battery off my Peugeot 306 estate HDI, and now my CD player will not work, it is asking for a code, the serial number on the on the Player is CL0401Y0442809  Model number is PU-2294A(C)  However there is no manufacturer name on the front panel.  I live in Spain near Malaga but purchased the car from an auction in the UK Last week...

Can someone help me to either identify the make, or tell me any sites that can supply the software that can go on my computer to try and decode it.  an email to me at jackson43@hotmail.com would be most helpful...

You will need to contact a Peugeot dealer to get the code. I have also seen on the WWW a site that can supply you the code, however they will also charge you for the code/s. You may want to remove the stereo to look and see if the previous owner wrote the code on the case of the stereo.
