I am looking to buy a couple of 4inch speaker for my car and was wondering what is the best material that speakers can be made out of and which are the best brands. Also do you know of any good wes sites  to look at so i can get a good idea of what I want? Cheers

If you are installing these speakers in the doors of your car, I would suggest poly cone speakers due to being water proof. As for looking for speakers your best bet would be to go to Circuit City, BestBuy to see what they have on display. On the internet you will find many sites that have car stereos and speakers. CrutchField is a good one to try.

Paper coned speakers will sound a slight bit better than a plastic coned speaker, however most people won't be able to tell the difference. As I mentioned before, you shop around for sites that sell speakers that will fit your car.
