Audio Systems: Amp Question, watts rms, watt amp

Question
I have two 10" MTX Road Thunder subs and these are the specs. that are listed: 125 Watts Rms, 250 peak and is 4 ohms for each sub. My cousin recommended a 500-watt 2-channel mono class d subwoofer and he said the lower the ohms the better and said 2 would be fine. Where the heck can I get something like that or is there something else I can use? Right now in my old car I was running it with a Pyle 600-watt MOSFET 2-channel 2-ohm stereo stable. Think that would be fine? Or is it overkill? Sometimes my car battery would die and I'd need a jump about once a month and I'd usually blame it on the amp. I could be wrong though. Your opinion is appreciated, thanks a bunch!

Answer
Marcos,
The 2 ohm amp would be a better way to go. The PYLE 600 watt will work OK, but you might want to install a second battery in the trunk for some extra power for the 600 watt amp. With a second battery you will need an isolator so that the alternator will charge the battery.
