I Can I put a radio from a 2003 Ford Explorer in a F150 Super Duty without any problems?  I had a 2003 radio that had two connectors on the back for two harnesses.  I gave the unit to someone who tried to put it in a Super Duty with one harness.  The unit worked in my Explorer (1998) but didn't have all the features my 98 radio had (cd/tape/AM&FM/RDS/CD Changer.  The Super Duty has one harness and the old radio had one connector. Could you possibly plug that harness in the wrong connector and blow it out?  What would cause the radio from working when it worked in my Explorer just days earlier?

Shawane,
Please give me all the model numbers off the rear of your radio. I will look over the service manuals for some clues on the problem.

Shawane,
What exactly is your radio doing or not doing? Does the radio come on, but no sound? give me some more details on the problem. In the mean time I will look over the service manual for some ideas.

Answer
Hello Shawane,
There are several versions of this radio. I don't have the service manual in front of me right now, however if you could send me a photo of what the rear connectors look like I can ID this radio faster. But anyway the problem may be with something blown in the input power supply. I will have to look over the service manual for a better idea of what may have happened.
