Audio Systems: Radio Install, 2002 chevrolet prizm, chevrolet prizm

Hello, how are you. I just installed a in dash reciever in my 2002 Chevrolet Prizm. I noticed when im driving the car the reciever tends to make a whining noise when CD's are playing and the radio. But when the car is turned to accessory I don't hear it. I was wondering is it my wiring or what. Thank You

    you might be picking up some feedback from the engine/charging system .. double check all your wiring and insulation to make sure everything is protected .. and go down to a radio shack or equal and buy a distortion block and wire into the system this should fix the problem .. if you need anything else let me know
