Audi Repair: 99 Audi a4 electrical malfunction, high beams, electrical malfunction

Question
I was installing a remote starter and had all the wire hooked up however when i tried to use the vehicle the headlights, horn, turn signals, and the blower motor for the airconditioning/heater dont work. the high beams only work if i manually pull back on the switch but not if it is clicked forward. i think it might have something to do with the car accessory output wire because the terminal on the bottom of the fuseblock does not give power anymore when the engine is running. I have checked all the fuses including the ones under the dash as well as the relay that is wired into the accessory wire terminal. I dont know what to do anymore, hoping you could help.
Thanks

Answer
It sounds like you have shorted out a major part of the circuit.  Or the ignition switch may have gone bad...  I would start by checking the voltages on the accessory line, and the supply path to these lines.  This should be done with a manual.  I would also disconnect the remote starter and see if that resolves the issue.
