Motorcycle Repair: rear turn signal disconnect, honda 750 shadow spirit, honda 750 shadow

Question
Mark

I need to replace a rear turn signal on my 2005 Honda 750 Shadow Spirit. I removed the bolt that held the blinker assembly in place but I can't find wear the wire connection is. I'm new to motorcycling and I didn't want to force anything and cause additional damage. I posted this question on the repair forum and someone mention a bullet connector but if it's there I didn't locate it.
Thanks
Gary

Answer
Hi Gary,

The best investment in your motorcycle is the factory service manual. I do not recommend other brands- you get what you pay for.

The Service Manual has illustrated procedures for all repairs and maintenance and will pay for itself with the first home repair.

About the tun signal...
Look for electrical bullet connectors under the fender, seat, or rear section. Trace the wires from the back of the signal assy., until the connectors are located. You may have to remove the seat or other parts to access or see the wires and connectors.
