Audi Repair: audi a3 53 reg 2.0 fsi engine losing power then gaining it again., throttle position sensor, mass airflow sensor

hi there my audi a3 2.0 fsi is losing power mainly when i am on the motorway doing around 70 to 80mph, but then finding the power again after about 5 seconds and kicking back in?? any ideas ill be very grateful thanks gareth.

This could be a throttle position sensor (TPS) or mass airflow sensor (MAF) problem.  Unless you have a problem with a fuel pump.  I would get the fuel pressure checked, and then check/clean the TPS, and if the problem persists, replace the MAF.  Let me knw what you find,  Jan
