Audi Repair: NEED A GOOD AUDI MECHANIC, audi cabriolet, westla

Question
I am looking for a good Audi mechanic for my wife's 97 Audi Cabriolet. I live in Los Angeles.While I prefer WestLA, Santa Monica, Venice. I will travel to some one I can trust. I have been involved with BMWS for 25 years, I know it is sometimes difficult finding someone who is good. I would appreciate any suggestions or reccomendations. While I understand no ones perfect I am tired of incompetence and or being ripped off.Thank You, AL

A very understandable problem, I am afraid.  I don't know of any in your area as I am on the other side of the country.  I would use the forums to get some pointers, but beware the rogue mechanics who suggest themselves or their own shops.  You need multiple endorsements before trying any one I think...  Good luck,  Jan
