QuestionI like to know what is the fastest and best way to replace the termostat on my 98 A4,2.8Q

that involves removing the front bumper, putting the radiator carrier in the 'service position' then removing the v-belt drives, timing belts and then finally the thermostat housing, there is no short cut as such as there isnt alot of room to manouver the tools required so this will be the easiest way.
