Audi Repair: 96 Audi Quattro 4-door V6, position sensor, audi quattro

Question
Engine turns over fine but does not start.  Replaced the ignition swith.  Ignition relay replaced.  It is getting plenty of fuel.  While trying to start, the sunroof opened on it's own and will not close.  Fuses are all OK.  Are there any special relays?  Thanks.

Answer
There is a load reduction relay that may be malfunctioning.  Most of these relays are tucked in under the dash.  However even if this goes bad, the engine should still start.  Check the fuses under the plastic covers, I would check for a spark.  Also check crank position sensor, and see if there are any codes in the computer.  Let me know,  Jan
