Audi Repair: 1996 audi a8, warning lights, audi a8

hi. i was considering purchasing a 1996 audi a8, but i was told the a.b.s. and brake warning lights are on, what does this mean? is it minor or a major repair? thanks, chris

There could be a simple relay problem, or you may need a new ABS control unit.  One can be fixed for $15, the other $2500...  It would pay to get the systems checked out before making your purchase.  A small investment before purchase now could really save you some major headaches later!  Let me know,  Jan
