Audi Repair: 98 Audi Quattro Cold Start Problems, audi quattro, cold start

Question
Hey guys, I have a 98 Audi Quattro and I'm having a starting problem with it. It started a few weeks ago when the weather started getting really cold around here. The engine turns but doesn't start. There is spark because I pulled the spark plugs and grounded them and while plugged in and I see a spark. Also before that I tried starting the car up early in the morning and I pulled the plugs and there were fresh with gasoline. The engine is getting fuel and spark. This problem just started two weeks ago with it taking a while for it to start. Today it just didn't start. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Answer
There could be multiple reason for a no-start problem.  If the plugs were wet, then this means that perhaps the plugs are not firing under compression.  Easiest thing to do is go to an automotive place and get the codes (if any) read out.  You can also check if the cold start valve may not be functional.  Let me know,  Jan
