Audi Repair: 2002 audi a4 1.8t Misfire Random, 2002 audi a4, tail pipes

Hello,
I have an 2002 Audi 1.8t FWD CVT. The car one morning when started got really shacky and the MIL light started blinking but did not stay on. The tail pipes were making a poping noise, not very loud but noticable. The RPM are jumping like crazy between 850 and 700(VAG_COM). The car is vibrating really bad almost as if somebody was jumping on it. If I try to drive it it seams like it is about to die when in gear and brake is applied. I connected VAG-COM and got a 16684 P0300-001 RANDOM/MULTIPLE CYLINDER MISFIRE code. It does not indicate exactly wich cylinder. Any ideas?

P0300 is for random misfire, P0301 is for cyl. #1 . You have bad coil. We replace coils every week, so just get new one . Check the numbers on them , and ask dealer (when you go there) if that the new ones or older. Sometimes it's better to replace all of them .
