Audi Repair: turn signal, radio slot, turn signals

Question
My nephew has a TT, and when he engages the turn signal, it lights up, but does not blink. I have a Chevy, and when this happens on my Chevy, it's a bulb that needs replacing. Is it the same on an Audi TT? Is there a way to tell which bulb it is without taking them all out?
  Thanx so much...  Joe

Answer
hello
Like on many Audis,  Turn signals are control by relay which is inside the 4-way flasher switch, this goes bad in all Audis. sometimes they light up , click for 2-3 times and stop or do not work at all. It's a relay.
To replace it - remove radio, inside the radio slot-- on the top (under the switch) you will have to pull the top down (the whole flat upper piece) this will release all switches. Once this is done push the switch inside
