Audi Repair: 02 A4 front wheel bearing, wheel speed, speed sensor

Question
I know that the bearing is a press bearing and that i will need assistance in doing this, however i was wondering if there is more to it besides taking the hub off and pressing it? Do i have to split joints or anything?

well, all depends how do you want to do it. On the car - (you will need the tool and air compressor) you can just disconnect upper arms( or arm if it's rear) and get the axle out. If you want to do it on the press , you have to get the whole unit out of the car meaning disconnecting upper and lower arms, axle and than taking it to the press.
I'm not 100% sure but I think front bearings on 02 are not press in. They are hold by 4 bolts- easier to replace. So, make sure which one do you have . On the new ones you can see 4 bolts around axle.
When you do this watch the wheel speed sensor, it's better to pull it out  just a little so it will not get damaged during whole job
