Audi Repair: 1998 Audi A6, oil leaks, audi a6

Hi, Someone is selling me a 1998 Audi A6 for $3800 with 150,000 and it has sunroof 4dr and pretty much everything and says it runs good. I would like to know if that is a good price and if it is a good car? i have heard that the parts are expensive like a BMW and i would like to know if that is true?

the value of this car is anywhere from 6 to $7000. Audi are good cars, but with 150000 mil on the car , anything may need to be replace. And parts are not cheap.
If you going to buy this car take it to any shop and let them check it over . Make sure there is no any big oil leaks from anywhere and ask the owner when timing belt was replace? Replace the timing belt will run you from  1000 to $2000
