Audi Repair: power window, head screws, philips head

I am trying to find out how to remove the rear driver side door on my 1999 audi a4.

I think you talking about door panel.
You have 2 small philips head screws on the sides of door panel (on the top), and where inside door handle is there is 1 screw. when you take that one out, pull cover off and there will be 2 more.
panel comes up once all screws are out.
