Land Rover Repair: Coolant--Green or Orange for 00 RR, coolant system, coolant

Question
I recently had my coolant system flushed and filled on my '00 Range Rover 4.6, and the Green coolant was repalced with similar Green Coolant.  Now my dealer says it is supposed to be the Orange Coolant, and putting the Green in will cause problems, and I should switch back.  So what do I do?

Answer
If your Rover has the newer Bosch engine management it takes Dex Cool (orange).  However, if it's filled with green and had green before, there is little benefit to be had from switching back provided it was well flushed when the change was made.

You have problems when mixing coolants but substituting one for the other seldom causes trouble.
