I have a 2003 escalade when you try to turn it on the lights ondoor flashes but won't stay on.

Just a guess--could have an electrical short causing the circuit breaker to cut on and off.
You may want to disconnect the wiring to the seac ant see if you have power going to the element or if the light will stay on. These heating elements are known to burn up inside the seat cushion.

You should be able to get the factory service manual for it for $30 by going to http://www.allata.com and download it for a year to do a full diagnoses an anything else you may have to fix.
