Cadillac Repair: CADDY, Chicago plaintiff forensic expert, bad faith insurance theft claim denial

Question
QUESTION: i turned my 2002 cadillac sts on and i hear a squealing noise why is that?

ANSWER: Hello,

Obviously I am not there to hear it, but my first thought on a squeal coming from the engine would be a loose or worn serpentine drive belt.

The belt should be check periodoticly because it controls every thing from your water pump to alternator.

QUESTION: my 2002 caddy sts drives good but i keep hearing rattling noise every time i go over bumps what does that mean/ DO I NEED NEW SHOCKS?

Answer
Hello,

Although I was very good at finding rattles and squeaks, it required road testing which I can not do hear. Rattle sounds travel as well. You may think the rattle is coming from the right rear when in fact it is coming from the front.

I don't want you to waste your money replacing shocks and find out that was not the problem.

There are guys as good as me when it comes to this.

Go to a local body shop and pay them to test drive. I am sure they can diagnose it the first time saving you money and frustration.

Good luck!
