Cadillac Repair: 83 Caddie DeVille Blower motor, blower motor, issue question

The blower motor in my '83 DeVille recently stopped working.  The A/C and vent both work, just no blower motor.  I replaced the blower motor but that did not resolve the issue.

Question is...is there a Blower Motor relay in that car?  I do not see one listed in my manual...is it hidden?  1980 - 1984 are the same as far as I know.

Hello,

You need a Resistor block module. Don't know if you can even find one from the dealer anymore and if you try your luck with used, chances are you will get a junk part. This is not a relay problem. Cadillac decided to give you a treat! You will see the molded module above the blower motor with the wire leading to the blower.

One guy recently said he found one a dealer had laying around and he paid about $250 for it.
