Cadillac Repair: 1996 Cadillac Deville Turn key no power, cadillac deville, battery cables

I have a Cadillac Deville and i drove it for a while then i parked it when i went back outside to start it and you could turn the key and i wouldn't start after a couple of trys it would start now there is no power no dash lights nothing it will not even crank I've checked the battery cables and still nothing the battery is good i have had it checked out now the car has been sitting for a week and i need to know whats wrong. The car has an aftermarket alarm with remote start and it wont start using the remote to start it.

Without being at the car it is impossible for me to give you an exact answer as to what may be wrong.
However, that does not stop me from considering your complaint.

No power with the battery being good is consistent with 2 types of problems.

Either a distribution box under the dash that has connection problems or a burned out fusible link under the hood.
