Cadillac Repair: 1994 Cadillac STS IO 34 problem, pcm data, cadillac sts

Question
I recently pulled my battery for the winter, my car was running great with no problems.  I just put the fully charged battery back in and I am now getting an IO 34 "no PCM data" code.
I pulled the battery back out checked all the main ground points of corrosion and proper tightness replace the battery still same problem.
I bought a used PCM unit and put that in, it gives me the same problem plus a no ACP data code.  Put the orginal PCM back in and still have the no PCM data error.
I am thinking the used PCM is bad along with my orginal,.

Do you have any ideas or other suggestions of what to check?

Any help would be great.

Thank you
John

Answer
Did you CLEAR (erase) the code AFTER you installed the computers via the CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL ?. You cannot clear the code by disconnecting the battery or pulling fuses.

It MUST be done via the CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL.
