QuestionQUESTION: Engine starts runs fine When I drive back fires no power. Thought it needed a tuneup.Replace spark plugs,wires.Now I,am thinking bad gas put gas in same problem.No codes on computer,transmission don't shift right,that is most likely the engine
ANSWER: IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on the dash ever illuminated while driving the vehicle ?.
If it HAS and you know how to extract the CODES from the computers let me know what they are.

QUESTION: Check engine light came on one time today but didn't stay on.This is my sons car he said the light came on before.I put a jumper wire on a%26B to get the codes it would not bring anything up.I unplug the battery and hooked back up seem like it ran better for 5 min. Thanks for quick reply.
ANSWER: You get the codes via the CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL.
If you have a DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER:
1. Turn ignition switch ON, Do NOT start the engine.
2.On the climate control panel locate the OFF and WARMER (fan up) buttons and SIMULTANEOUSLY push and hold both buttons for 3 seconds and release them.
3. On the FUEL DATA display the CODES will appear in the combination form of LETTERS & NUMBERS followed by the word History or Current which will appear after EACH code displays.
4. After the codes display the display will stop at ECM?
5. Push and release the AUTO button.
Tell me what CODES you get and which codes are History and which codes are Current.

2. Push and release the HI (fan up) button and you will see ECM DATA?
3. Keep pushing and releasing the LO (fan down) button until you see ECM CLEAR CODES?
4. Push and release the HI button and you will see ECM CODES CLEAR. Wait 3 seconds and push and release the AUTO button and you will see ECM?
5. Push and release the LO button and you will see BCM?
6. Push and release the HI (fan up) button and you will see BCM DATA?
7. Keep pushing and releasing the LO (fan down) button until you see BCM CLEAR CODES?
8. Push and release the HI button and you will see BCM CODES CLEAR. Wait 3 seconds and push and release the AUTO button and you will see ECM?
9. Keep pushing and releasing the LO button until you will see SIR?
10. Push and release the HI (fan up) button and you will see SIR CLEAR CODES?
