Cadillac Repair: 2001 deville dash pad replacement, dash pad, pad replacement

I have a 2001 Deville that I just purchased and the dash pad is curling in the middle and on the ends. Do you know if this can be replaced and if so where can I purchase  and how does the old one come off and the new one applied?

Hi Larry,

To be perfectly honest, I have changed thousands of dashes over the years, but the last Caddy I did was 1999 (old body).

If I were you, I would call a body shop. They can look in the crash book and tell you. The older caddys you could just replace a pad. If you find out that the pad is a separate part number, you can order new from Cadillac or possibly find one used.

The problem is that dash or pad, they do not come in color and you will need someone to spray it with flexible dye.
