Question
QUESTION: I have a 1988 Cadillac Allante and I've narrowed my problem down to the Central Power Supply but I can't find the location of the unit to do further testing, can you help?

ANSWER: Hello,

I have an 88' Allante so you are in luck. What are you looking for the power to?

Write me at robpainter@autotheftexpert.com and I will see if I can help you. I have the owner's manual if you don't.

QUESTION: I keep getting my e-mail back saying it can't be delivered to the address you left me. I tried it twice. I don't have an owners manual for this vehicle but I do have Alldata but it doesn't show the location of the central power module. I need to find it so I can test the output because I'm getting intermittent power to the turns, gauges and the info center which all seem to be tied into the central power module according to the diagrams.

Answer
Hello,

What is your complaint that you need to find the central power supply? As I stated. I own one of these puppies and with 62,000 original miles, it has been the best car I have ever owned.

Now, have you found the relay/fuse panel near the ashtray? That has circuit breakers for retained power, top pull down and some other things.
