Cadillac Repair: engine overheating, coolant pumps, coolant leak

Question
I have a 96 Cadillac Deville, if I let it run for a while, the coolant pumps out of the reservoir and it overheats. What are the possible causes for this?

Answer
Hello,

You will need to have the vehicle diagnosed at a service center. Could be a coolant leak, plugged radiator, head gasket, radiator fan, water pump, thermostat and just about anything else in the cooling system.

Don't drive the car while overheating!!! All Cadillac engines are more susceptable than cast iron of permanent internal damage driving hot!!!!!
