How to remove the AC/Heater Programmer.

I will give you a very general answer, but you would be wise to either go to your library and see if they have a service manual, or better yet, google "Helm" who writes these manuald for GM. Another option is Ebay.

I recommend anyone keeping a car older than 2000, to obtain service manual. This can be a great savings in the long run instead of having the dealer fix everything.

To get to the heat a/c controls is not difficlt. Most of the decoratrive trim around it, just snaps in. Make sure there are no hidden screws, be gentle and pull on the plastic evenly so it does not break. Once the trim is off, you will see the attaching screws. Remove, pull out and disconnect.
