Cadillac Repair: 97 deville half cold/half hot when heater on, vacuum lines, air temp

Question
QUESTION: Hi Guys: I am getting cold air on driver side and hot air on passenger side when I turn the heater on.  I just had the heat exchange replaced. Can you help me fix it myself? I studied where the vacuum lines are, if you can offer some tips.  I catch on pretty quickly mechanically.

ANSWER: If you are getting COLD air on the passengers side with the HEAT on, You have a faulty passengers ACTUATOR which regulates the air temp for the passengers side.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
