Cadillac Repair: 92 Caddilac Problems, gas gauge, air condition

I have a 1992 caddilac sedan deville. I love my car. I am haveing a few problems thouhg. The gas gauge on the car will not display it blinks when you turn the key over, and then goes right back off. The air condition use to work but now it will not come on at all. the information system says service air condition. How do it even begin to start to fix them. I know it will be costly to go to a Dealer.

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.

What work or diagnostics of ANYKIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.
