Cadillac Repair: Battery, blower fan, engine compartment

I have a 92 De ville and the battery loses it charge over a period of time. I can sometimes hear a motor running in the engine compartment but can't pin point the area.

What you are most likely hearing is the blower motor for blowing air from the interior vents for your heater and A/C system. The blower fan is mounted on the firewall under the steering column and slightly to the passengers side in the engine compartment.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
