Cadillac Repair: 96 caddilac deville 4.6, ground wires, test procedures

I just recently got this car. I picked it up and drove it 600 miles. My wife took it through a puddle and cracked the radiator and also the display says no charge on battery. its brand new and when started it charges right back up and still intermittently say no charge.

Did you replace the radiator ?. Is it possible that you left one of the BLACK colored GROUND wires loose when you replaced the radiator.
