Cadillac Repair: Air ride, air ride suspension, diagnostic test

QUESTION: I have a 2003 Cad. DTS with air ride suspension and when it get cold outside the air ride does not work at all has no suspension. I have had it into the dealer to be repaired 3 times and comes bad the same each time. They have replaced the module but no change in the ride.

ANSWER: IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.

What work or diagnostics of ANY KIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.

QUESTION: Yes the engine light did come on before they worked on it about fix suspension ride. It has not been cold enough sense late last spring when it was worked on. They said they run diagnostic test and suspension was suppose to be repaired after replacing the module control. But it still is not right because it is getting colder again and it seams to be starting to ride rough again. It is like something on the air ride freezes up when it is cold out.

ANSWER: I retired in 2000, But I would suspect that the HEIGHT SENSOR is causing your problem.

What MODULE did they replace ?.

QUESTION: The air ride control module box that is suppose to adjust the height control for 2 or 4 passenger and for towing. That is what the dealer claim. Everything seems to work until it gets cold out.
