Volvo: SRS Light, s70 glt, vadis

I have a 2000 S70 GLT SE and my SRS Light is on.  I read somewhere, but cannot remeber where, that the cause may be that I disconnected the Stereo System in my car and reconnected it; could that be it and how could I reset it?

Possible yes, the source of the problem is disconnecting of the stereo. Because there is cables behind the radio for SRS system, maybe you disconnected them and then reconnected again. So there is an intermitten code in the SRS control module that should be erased. But you can not do it, since the car is 2000 model. You should go to a dealer, at there, the DTC will be erased via computer (Volvo Aftersales Diagnostic Information System - VADIS)
