QuestionQUESTION: i had problems starting the car as well as random electrical aissues, Put in a new ing switch and the stating problems went away now the problem im workn on is a cooling issue , after it starts up the temp gauge doesnt respond to the heating up of the engine also the fans wont kick on , so when i turn the key off and back on the the gauge changes its reading and the fans still dont ick on what do you think the problem is i was talkn with some body and they told me that it could possabley be the tempature sending unit located near the water pump i think the water pump works im not sure but the fans dont turn on witch needs to happn when the car runs. in your oppion what do you belive the proble could be if you need any more information please ask.

QUESTION: No the check enginee light isnt on at all .
ANSWER: If there was a fault in the temperature sending unit, You would have a CHECK ENGINE illumination.
Since the coolant sensor transmits the signal to the computer and the computer processes the coolant sensor and sends a signal to the temperature gage this is most likely a fault in the computer processing of this signal from the coolant sensor.
The coolant radiator fans will not come ON until the engine temp reaches approx 220 degrees.
There are several test procedures with several pictures that you can perform manual tests to see if the coolant fans do work and also that the coolant fan relays work.
Does the engine OVERHEAT light ever illuminate ?. Are you POSITIVE that your engine temp is getting hot enough (approx 220 degrees) in order for the fans to come ON ?.

QUESTION: the tempature gauge speraticauly works at times the fans dont come on at all the engine overheat light doesnt come on eather or at least i havnt ever sean it come on. or if i turn the car off then back on it will change the readn so the fans dont turn on at all , yet along with the tmepature gauge it doesnt matter if the windows wont work eather at times it doesnt matter eather way if eather work its all speratic so is there any way these problems could be connected ? possably a bad ground or maybe something else ? When you say check the wires is that in the fuse box under the hood with a light ?
