Cadillac Repair: 1990 Eldorado Theft Deterrent System, theft deterrent system, electrical fittings

Question
I have already bypassed the resistor in the steering column and the car has worked fine for years.  Now all of a sudden when I open either door after unlocking it, the alarm goes off for several minutes.  I pulled the drivers side door panel and all the wires look fine except there is corrosion up near the lock electrical fittings.  It isn't sensing that the key unlocks either door and the alarm is being triggered when the door opens.  Passenger side lock has never worked correctly.  How do I troubleshoot? Thanks!

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
