Cadillac Repair: 1998 deville, gas tank, gas cap

my 1998 deville just stopped acts like its out of gas but isnt Help

When you try and start the engine is there spark getting to the spark plugs ?.

Have someone listen at the gas cap opening as you turn the ignition switch to the ON position ONLY. The person at the gas tank should hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds and then stop. Does it ?.
